Maria Petrynets is teacher of Art and Craft from Ukraine. She set up a group ‘An Angel for a Worrier’ aiming to teach people how to make Ukrainian traditional doll lialka-motanka, angels and other figures. The angels are later sent to the front-line together with children’s drawings and cards with warm wishes to show love, support and great appreciation to our brave Arm Forces.
Maria teaches classes for all age groups; therefore, you can bring you children and do this activity together as family. Classes cost from £5.00 for a person and all money are donated to the good causes: at the moment Maria is trying to raise enough funds to send an ambulance vehicle to the hospital in Lviv, Western Ukraine, where many heavy wounded soldiers from the frontline undergoing medical treatments and rehabilitation.
Together we will prevail and win the war. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
